Fresno Grizzlies
Take yourself out to the ballgame with the Fresno Grizzlies. This minor league baseball team plays at Chukchansi Park and have been Fresno's baseball team since 1998. Enjoy an evening of good sports, good seats, good food and guaranteed fun as the Grizzlies take the field.

Fresno Fuego
Since 2003, Fresno Fuego has been Fresno's USL Premier Development League soccer team. The sports team plays home at Chukchansi Park, with the Fresno Grizzlies. Watch the soccer team set fire to the field as they speed across, aiming for the goal.

Central Valley Coyotes
Check out some sports action provided by professional arena football at the Selland Arena. Watch the Central Valley Coyotes take to the indoor field for an intense game. The sports team plays a good game, but is currently in negotiations about switching from Arena Football 2 to possibly the Indoor Football League, which is known to be friendly to smaller markets.

Tulare Santa Fe Trail
Ride the former rails at the rails-to-trails style Tulare Santa Fe Trail. Formerly a spur line, this trail has since been smoothly paved over. The four-mile trail system travels through visually diverse areas, including downtown. Perfect for bikers and skaters, this relatively flat trail connects to other existing bike paths, and even an equestrian trail.

South Shore Trail
Take a scenic walk along Millerton Lake when you take the South Shore Trail. This recreation trail circles around the lake, from South Bay Picnic Area to the park marina for a total of 4 miles. The trail is mellow walking with little elevation gain, and a beautiful view of the lakeshore.

Sugar Pine Trail
The long Sugar Pine Trail runs through Fresno and Clovis, beginning at Fresno Street and Nees Avenue and running along Friant Road to Shepherd, then East to Willow and continuing South along Willow. The entire area is paved and lined with over 4,400 trees. Enjoy the deciduous and evergreen mix as you stroll, jog, run, bike, rollerblade or even ride your horse along the smooth pathways.

Lewis S. Eaton Trail
Currently 4 miles long and in the process of being expanded, the Lewis S. Eaton Trail begins in Woodward Park and runs parallel to Friant Road. Parking is available for guests of Woodward Park, although a bus route also passes by. Enjoy the sights of the San Joaquin River, the trees and the foothills as you walk, run, cycle or horseback ride through the park. This park is a great destination for outdoor recreation.

Island Waterpark

Mosqueda Pool
Bring everyone out for some swimming fun at the Mosqueda Pool, one of Fresno's five municipal pools open to the public. Mosqueda is open seven days a week, from 1:00PM until 5:00PM.
